People Management Responsibilities
The Global Health and Wellbeing Manager will be responsible for coordinating the wellbeing activities of all company stakeholders, including line management of 4-5 senior EHS, Care Team and Medical Services team members. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across EHS and People functions, communicating effectively with GE Vernova leadership and managers on a range of health and wellbeing subjects overall including health and wellbeing program implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Health and Wellbeing Program Design
Work with the CMO on the comprehensive design and delivery of health and wellbeing services to all GE Vernova personnel globally, ensuring programs are culturally appropriate, evidence based, and aligned with organizational objectives. Develop integrated program frameworks that address the interconnected nature of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Coordinate complex, multi-phase implementations across diverse geographical regions and business segments, serving as the primary liaison between the medical organization and business segments.
Health Initiative Coordination and Support
Coordinate support for health initiatives by identifying appropriate delivery vehicles that maximize reach, engagement, and effectiveness across GE Vernova's global workforce. Oversee cost-benefit analyzes for health and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring that program investments deliver measurable value to both employees and the organization. Work with stakeholders to develop comprehensive data collection systems that capture relevant metrics across all health and wellbeing programs, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations while generating actionable insights.
Health Promotion and Preventive Strategies
Participate actively in the development and implementation of health promotion and preventive health strategies specifically designed to reduce the chronic non-communicable disease (NCD) burden among GE Vernova employees over time. Develop and execute population health strategies that identify high-risk employee groups and implement targeted interventions to prevent disease progression and promote optimal health outcomes. Design and implement comprehensive health education programs that empower employees to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Technology and Data Management
Assist the CMO in the creation of a comprehensive health data platform in collaboration with digital technology, information technology, and data security professionals to elicit meaningful insights, identify trends, and develop comprehensive company health profiles and risk assessments.
Communication and Reporting
Generate comprehensive monthly leadership health reports that provide detailed analysis by business segment and geographical region highlighting key performance indicators, emerging trends, risk factors, and program outcomes. Partner with Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety, and Leadership Communications teams to deliver one unified, consistent message on health and wellbeing across all organizational communications channels.
Program Management: Demonstrated experience managing health and wellbeing programs across several geographical regions, with specific experience addressing cultural, regulatory, and logistical challenges associated with program implementation. Experience working within large corporate environments, preferably in manufacturing, energy, or other industrial sectors.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
Data Analytics and Technology: Familiar with data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualization platforms (Tableau or Power BI for example), and database management systems. Experience with health information systems, electronic health records, and population health management platforms.
Project Management Excellence: Experience in multi-location project management, managing complex, multi-phase initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, with significant resource requirements.
Data Management: Clear understanding of relevant health and safety regulations, privacy laws (HIPAA, GDPR), and compliance requirements.
Leadership and Communication Skills:
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute on agreed vision, influence organizational culture, and drive sustainable change. Experience leading a team, managing performance, and developing talent within an organization.
Communication: Competency in written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex health information to diverse audiences including senior executives, technical specialists, and general employee populations. Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity with experience working effectively across diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic contexts.
Change Management: Experience in organizational change management, implementing new programs, technologies, and processes. Ability to sustain engagement throughout change initiatives.
Working Conditions and Performance Expectations:
Travel and Global Engagement
Significant travel requirements (approximately 25% of time) to visit GE Vernova facilities globally, meet with regional teams, conduct program assessments, and participate in health initiatives. Must be comfortable working across diverse cultural contexts and time zones, with the ability to adapt communication styles and program approaches to local customs, regulations, and business practices.
Key Performance Indicators:
Achieve and maintain high levels of employee participation in health and wellbeing programs across all business segments and geographical regions. Demonstrate measurable improvements in employee health outcomes including reductions in chronic disease prevalence, improvements in biometric indicators, and enhanced overall wellbeing scores. Deliver health and wellbeing programs within approved budgets while demonstrating positive return on investment through reduced healthcare costs, decreased absenteeism, improved productivity, and enhanced employee retention.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $147,900.00 and $246,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
