CACI is seeking a Sr Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to support our intelligence customer in St Louis, MO/Springfield, VA. As a team, we will be responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities deployed across multiple security domains utilizing Agile scrum methodologies. Tailoring cutting-edge solutions to unique requirements of our clients, we will support multiple tenants deploy a myriad of application stacks and data services. Be a part of something greater than yourself and make a lasting impact at CACI. The Senior Systems Engineer designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems. This includes the coordination of system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems.
  • Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
  • Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task lead.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

  • BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • 8+ years of related systems engineering experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly.

Required Skills:

  • Linux system administrator
  • Scripting / Coding (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Kubernetes
  • Ansible
  • Helm charts
  • Automation

DESIRED SKILLS

  • A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:
  • Operational support
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Ceph storage platform
  • GitLab

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
