JR60291 Test Process Engineer (Component)Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Drive collaboration between the Burn/Test Key Equipment Group (KEG) and Sites to integrate new technologies and issue resolution.
Coordinate continuous improvement efforts on a global scale to implement industry-best-in-class methods for manufacturing and equipment processes.
Lead the deployment of best-known process methods (BKMs) and the latest process technology across our global manufacturing network.
Working with global peer groups to optimize manufacturing performance and align this across the manufacturing network
Work with peer groups and customers to benchmark these metrics to improve performance in the network for BIC processes.
Analyze and solve manufacturing processes and develop a system to optimize the process to increase overall efficiency for improved yield, quality, and cost
Facilitate the transfer of process BKMs and new technology among sites throughout our manufacturing network.
Manage projects from definition to deployment in High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) production.
Take ownership of key business processes such as the Process of Record (POR), Failure Mode Effective Analysis (FMEA), and other relevant areas.
Provide technical expertise and support to both internal and external customers.
Mentor, lead, and/or collaborate with global teams as required.
Identify and determine the origin of deviation, isolate causes, and provide solutions with systematic application of 8D, Total Process Control (TPC), Problem Solving, and Decision Making.
Develop new process transfer packages, procedures, training, and documentation.
Occasional travel required.
A Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering field or equivalent levels of experience and education are required.
Experience in Assembly/Test lines for Quality Engineering, Materials Engineering, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing software support systems (e.g., JMP, SAP).
General understanding of the back-end operations for component assembly, and component test operations.
Strong knowledge of worldwide business processes and the ability to take a business process approach in global networks.
Familiarity with product quality standards and a deep understanding of business units' direction and technical background.
Has a depth of understanding of process integration matters and can give accurate total priorities of yield and product qualities to direct reports.
Ability to effectively manage and implement action items from both tactical and strategic perspectives using an agile approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
