Job Description
The Graduate Assistant for People & Culture supports talent acquisition, onboarding, and HRIS-related functions while gaining practical experience in higher education human resources. This role partners with hiring managers and the People & Culture team to ensure recruitment and onboarding processes are completed accurately and efficiently. The position also serves as a front-line resource for employees, applicants, and visitors.
Support onboarding efforts by preparing materials, monitoring completion of required documentation, and assisting new hires through onboarding steps.
Monitor recruitment and onboarding workflows to identify missing items and follow up appropriately.
Provide basic HRIS support to hiring managers and new employees; escalate technical issues as needed.
Help prepare new hire communications, orientation resources, and welcome materials.
Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment and onboarding records; assist with periodic audits for data accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for walk-in visitors and general People & Culture inquiries.
Provide administrative and project support to the People & Culture team as assigned.
Must be enrolled in a Campbellsville University graduate program.
Interest in human resources, talent acquisition, higher education administration, or organizational development.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional environment.
