About the Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Coder to join our Health Informatics team.  This role is a full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) based at our St Vincent’s Northside Hospital.

Things that work for us:

  • An approved HIMMA course in ICD-10-AM or a Bachelor of Health Information Management

  • Demonstrated experience in clinical coding role of greater than two years is desirable

  • Experience in a private or public hospital setting is essential

  • High level of computer literacy

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills that provide the support and nurture for our patients and organisation’s needs.
