Job Title: Patient Care Assistant
Location: 608 Vets, Solihull (B91 1AA), travel to our two other practices will be required.
Salary: £22,542.19 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, the role is part of a rota with three other PCAs that involves 1 weekend in 3, a week of 7am starts and a week of 9pm finishes.
Your role and responsibilities
Patient Care Assistants are an essential part of the Practice Team. Working alongside the clinical team and the client care team, the ideal candidate will have a good background in animal handling, with previous veterinary care experience preferred. High standards of patient care and premises management need to be maintained at all times, and the PCAs are key to achieving this.
The right candidate will have an Animal Care qualification and want to ensure the highest standard of care is provided for our patients and clients. The role is varied, but includes:
Training will of course be provided.
Our PCA team may have the option to move onto Nurse training if successful in the PCA role and meeting set achievements.
