About us:
 
The Partner Acquisition team drives the expansion of the Target.com catalog by growing
the matrix of sellers on Target Plus. The team works closely with Category Management,
On-boarding and Operations, Site Experience, and Item to ensure all partners meet or
exceed expectations of what it means to be a Partner selling goods on Target Plus. The
team also works hand in hand with enterprise teams such as Legal, Vendor Risk
Management, Business Partnerships and Negotiations, Insurance, and Responsible
Sourcing to ensure that our partners meet Target’s standards and are competitive within
the evolving landscape of online marketplaces.
 
As a Global Sourcing Manager, Partner Acquisition, you will study international
consumer and brand landscape, identify relevant Global brands opportunities, and work
with internal support teams to manage end-to-end sourcing processes, to support our
global expansion efforts. You will work extensively with internal operations and
compliance team to ensure the brands onboarded qualify for the stringent quality
benchmarks of Target plus. You will also be able to sign on strategic partners to work on
fulfilment/listing/any other support required to onboard the relevant brands.
Key responsibilities:
Support Sourcing Strategy: Conduct ongoing global market research to identify
and recommend strategic partners. Monitor industry trends, guest behaviours,
and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities.
Reporting & Insights: Manage and enhance lead pipeline reporting, providing
actionable insights. Develop dashboards to track key performance indicators
(KPIs) and automate business reporting.
Partnerships: Lead partner pitches, negotiations, and communications. Drive top
seller listings, assortment expansion, and strategic initiatives to maximize partner
success.
Product and Process Excellence: Identify gaps in current operations and
propose innovative process improvements. Lead product initiatives and strategic
conversations to enhance operational efficiency.
Stakeholder management: Influence internal partner teams including senior
management, to align on the strategic direction of the sourcing process.

About you:  What are we looking for
Process-oriented, with a focus on driving operational improvements and
efficiency. 
Self-motivated and adaptable to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
Any 3–4-year college degree. MBA would be a plus, but not mandatory
The role would require working during cross-over timings with US partner teams 
5-7 years of experience in global sourcing, business development, pre-sales, or
seller partnerships, preferably in e-commerce.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting
relationships with sellers and internal stakeholders. Proficient in conceptualizing
and implementing solutions while driving continuous process improvements.
