Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Principal Logistics Management Analyst to become part of the Specialized Tactical Electronic Warfare Systems (STEWS) Site team at our Rolling Meadows, IL location. This position will be an integral part of the F-16 FMS Product Support Integration (PSI) Program. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
Driving the coordination of repair efforts with our Subcontractors and internal customers for both Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) for the F-16 Program and ensuring timely completion of assets in the repair life cycle. The selected candidate will serve as the repair life-cycle focal point, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer to meet program requirements and achieve program success.
The candidate will be customer service and time objective focused to achieve program repair objectives within program budget constraints; Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes and build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with subcontract suppliers ensuring components are repaired within the negotiated turnaround times.
Direct repair distribution by Program directed priorities with subcontract suppliers, internal suppliers, external customers, and internal customers.
Manage material requirements; planning, execution, forecasting material and ensuring on-time initiation material and service requisitions.
Forecast subcontract LRU and SRU repair schedule on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Establish accounting budgets for responsible subcontractors in accordance with available funding, statements of works, and program directives.
Collect data to perform trend analysis on assigned internal and external customers and/or suppliers.
Update various systems to reflect accurate information within a timely manner ensuring up-to-date visibility of repair status.
Control the flow of information, services, and assets between points of origin through the logistics life cycle.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma with 10 years of experience in supply chain management, material management, production and/or depot, and/or Enterprise Logistics.
Associate’s degree in related field with 8 years of experience in supply chain management, material management, production and/or depot, and/or Enterprise Logistics.
Bachelor’s degree in related field with 6 years of experience in supply chain management, material management, production and/or depot, and/or Enterprise Logistics.
Master’s degree in related field with 4 years of experience in supply chain management, material management, production and/or depot, and/or Enterprise Logistics.
Ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance.
6+ years working with subcontract suppliers.
6+ years formulating strategic material postures.
6+ years’ experience with Material budgeting.
Experience with SAP, Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Microsoft Office applications experience – mid level

Salary Range: $77,000.00 - $115,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
