Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support analytical and Business Intelligence applications that enable Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Operations, Distribution, Sourcing and related business processes, focused on SAP BI/BOBJ/BPC/IBP/SAC/ECC, Microsoft Power BI and related applications.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes data needs, gaps, pain points, and objectives; elicit, define, and analyze information analysis requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to define and design proposed analytical and reporting solution that meet requirements and adhere to platform and application design guidelines, strategies, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with BI developers to create functional specifications for analytical development that adheres to design guidelines and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Super Users to create test cases for end-to-end analytical and reporting solutions and system functions, ensuring traceability and coverage of requirements; execute tests; manage Super User test execution; analyze and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to create documentation and training materials; support training delivery and organizational change management.
- Support production systems; proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requests; participate in production support processes including identification of issue severity, root cause, and path to resolution.
- Identify opportunities to leverage information and analysis to improve business processes, and support business digitization efforts.
- Research and represent industry best practices. Plan and manage small projects leveraging appropriate project management methodology.
Will work in Oak Brook, Illinois. Hybrid work schedule. 3 days in office required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in job offered, Business Intelligence Analyst, Developer or related.
Must have experience with:
- Data analysis, Business Performance Management, Data Reconciliation and problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.
- Working knowledge of analytics and BI development lifecycles and how to take a solution from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment including release and change management.
- Strong business requirements analysis skills and ability to identify alternative solutions to business analysis problems.
- Data analysis skills and ability to translate business analytics and reporting needs into specific requirements and report/visualization designs. Ability to analyze data to answer business questions and present results to business stakeholders.
- Sales and Operations Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, Manufacturing Scheduling, Materials requirements planning, Quality and Global Sourcing.
- SAP BI and Business objectives development.
- Strong data modelling knowledge of SAP BW on HANA or SAP BW/4HANA with more than one implementation and support experience in these solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and Visualization tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft PowerBI.
- Knowledge on SAP Hybris, PKMS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics and implementing ETL solutions with SAP BI/BPC as both source and target systems
