What you'll do:

The IT Asset Manager Process Owner will play a critical role in the implementation, process documentation, and management of asset and configuration management program. This role will be responsible for IT Asset process development, process management, testing, training, organization change management, audits, and ongoing asset management. This role will collaborate closely with IT and business units to ensure effective asset and configuration management practices.

What we are looking for:

  • Act as a key contributor to implementing hardware and software asset management process and improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document asset management requirements and workflows.
  • Establish and update hardware and software lifecycle processes from acquisition to disposal.
  • Develop and implement inventory management processes for hardware and software assets.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Develop, document, and maintain process standards and workflows for asset and configuration management.
  • Manage and improve interactions between Asset and ITIL processes.
  • Implement and update control processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure governance and operational structures are followed within asset and configuration management.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to users and administrators.

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Continuously improve asset management processes based on feedback, performance metrics, and industry trends.
     

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT asset management, with a focus on process development and implementation.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow IT asset management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with ITIL process framework and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in IT asset management.
  • Ability to demonstrate managing large organizational changes with excellent collaboration skills.
