Job Tittle - Lead Software Engineer – Architecture Technology Foundation

 

The Purpose of This Role

As a Lead Software Engineer, in Architecture Technology Foundation – Common Platform Product Line of AM Tech India you will be a key technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, cloud platforms, and modern development practices. You will drive architectural decisions, ensure scalability and security, and enable seamless integration across systems. In addition to hands-on coding, you will mentor teams, establish best practices, and lead initiatives that improve developer productivity and system performance. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing technology strategy, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• As a Lead Engineer with expertise and experience in developing applications including new developments, enhancements, maintenance, and support. • Knowledge on ETL framework

• knowledge on AWS cloud services and technologies app deployments in Containers (Docker, EKS)

• Troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution

• You have Experience with matured Agile SCRUM practices

• You know Keeps current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our productivity

• You have to Demonstrates software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment, Acceptance Test Driven Development

• You have domain expertise for the functional and technical areas of focus. Shows eagerness to broaden understanding and knowledge of domain and technology

• SQL proficiency (Oracle experience preferred), ORM Tools (iBatis, Hibernate)

• Unix Shell and Python scripting basics

• Job Scheduling Technologies (Autosys / Airflow)

• Excellent presentation, documentation, and communication skills as well as skills to present/sell technology in business context to the stakeholders

The ideal candidate must be a solid team player with a strong understanding of the application delivery cycle: design, development, build, and deployment.

The candidate will play an important role in developing integrated cloud-hosted solutions, working on one of our Common Platform Products which provides Data Access solutions.
