Job Summary:
Greenhill’s New York-based Investment Banking group is seeking a Analyst to join its Financing Advisory & Restructuring team. This group is geared towards providing holistic financing and capital structure advice in complex and / or challenging situations. The Financing Advisory & Restructuring team works across industry sectors and provides a full range of solutions to meet clients’ balance sheet and strategic objectives.
The Analyst position at Greenhill offers qualified individuals exposure to all aspects of our of global capital solutions businesses. Analysts assume significant responsibilities, including helping to prepare presentations on restructuring and financing matters, participating in client meetings and calls, assisting with valuation, debt capacity, liquidity and other restructuring analyses, analyzing business plans and participating in due diligence, conducting research, and assisting with the development of strategic reviews and the evaluation of distressed M&A opportunities. Due to the size of the team, anAnalyst position at Greenhill provides a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced senior professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in the penultimate year with a graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
Minimum GPA of 3.5
Basic knowledge of and interest in financial concepts
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to act as a leader and a team player
Possess a strong work ethic
Strong oral and written communication skills
GREENHILL FINANCING ADVISORY & RESTRUCTURING ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and prepare client presentations and materials with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Build comprehensive financial models in connection with liability management, restructuring, or financing transactions
Screen and evaluate stressed and distressed businesses and synthesize analysis in short-form presentations to drive new business generation
Interact with senior bankers and clients on financing and restructuring transactions
Cultivate a collegial group culture built on inclusiveness, curiosity, creativity, and hard work
Create an extensive capstone project around a prospective restructuring candidate – incorporating cash flow model, liquidity analysis, industry research, and valuation analysis to construct a comprehensive presentation – and present it to senior bankers
Salary: $110,000.00
