The job purpose of a Deployment Specialist involves managing and facilitating the deployment of Voyager Health within MVH. The primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless and efficient deployment of Voyager Health across Business Units. Working closely with cross-functional teams, Deployment Specialist will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing deployment activities to minimize disruptions and enhance the overall user experience.

Coordinate deployment plans: A Deployment Specialist is responsible for executing a comprehensive and repeatable deployment plan for thousands of locations across multiple business units and countries. This plan will outline the scope of the project, the timelines, resources required with the intention to scale as locations are added, and potential risks.
Coordinating with other teams: The Deployment Specialist works closely with other teams, such as Program Management, Product Management, Software Development, Product Quality, IT infrastructure, Training, Support and Project Management, to ensure that all aspects of each deployment are aligned and executed as per plan.
Deployment Planning: Collaborate with development, testing, and BU technical teams to review detailed task list, considering factors such as timelines, resource availability, and potential risks.
Overseeing testing: The Deployment Specialist ensures that all the required testing is completed during deployment to ensure that the application or service is running smoothly.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving: The Deployment Specialist ensure any issues that arise during the deployment process are tracked and resolved.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact the deployment process. Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address issues promptly and minimize downtime.
Ensuring compliance: The Deployment Specialist ensures that all the necessary compliance standards, such as security and privacy, are met during the deployment process.

The Deployment Specialist operates within the broader organizational context, understanding project goals, industry standards, and technological landscapes. Their scope encompasses detailed planning, coordination, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the deployment lifecycle. They play a critical role in ensuring the deployment process is efficient, controlled, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Education & Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
5+ years of experience in Software deployments and change management is required.
Ability to manage multiple deployments that will scale as business units and locations are added is required.
Experience with global software implementations that impact thousands of users is preferred.
Comfort presenting to various levels of leadership.
Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, coordinating release schedules.
Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role in technology environments.
Demonstrated experience in project planning, risk management, and resource management.
Knowledge of deployment tools, and release management practices.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and senior leadership.
Strong knowledge of current technological trends and innovations.
Self-motivated, able to deal with ambiguity, and working well under pressure to meet deadlines within short time constraints.
High degree of competency within all phases of the program life cycle.
Salary: $59,000--$89,000 + bonus
