Department Overview
The Europe, Technical Staff (TS) team is part of the wider international post-sales organization within the EMEA Systems Integration organization. This team is responsible for designing and guiding the technical implementation of government and commercial communications system solutions, leveraging new technologies and approaches sourced from both inside and outside of Motorola Solutions. Typical systems and products include Communications Control Centres, Wireless Data and Voice Systems Solutions, Signaling and Remote Control Systems, Broadband Wireless Systems, and Public Safety Applications.

Job Description
- Develops, designs, evaluates, and/or modifies Unified Communication integration Systems, consistent with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Develops system architecture, and ensures the integrity of the architecture/design and documentation.
- Support the Ship Acceptance processes.
- Liaise with Engineering group and cross functional teams to possess knowledge about above technologies
- Handle software configuration to make sure everything works given the various customer configurations.
Other responsibilities:
- Required to travel when required
- Self management of assigned tasks to meet required schedule
- Proactive and self motivated, capable of working alone, within teams or remotely supervised
- Responsible for personal development with management support
- Continuous look at ways to improve quality and efficiency within the required scope of work
Basic Requirements
- Recognized Degree or equivalent education in electronic/electrical and IT communications engineering.
- Willingness to obtain Security Clearance at the security level required by the business and project in any Country across Western Europe Region.
- Good knowledge of IP Networking and IT Infrastructure understanding.
- Good understanding of Transmission Systems and Networking System Solutions.
- Knowledge of LMR Voice and Data Secure Mission Critical Communications Systems.
- Knowledge of Broadband PTT solutions. Beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong Interpersonal skills, interacting with government customers, Third party vendors/partners, MSI colleagues and management staff.
- Good oral and written presentation skills in English. Other European languages would represent a plus.
- Communication and presentations skills.
- Required to Travel for at least 30% of the time.
