Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Develop ABAP solutions according to design document requirements, including workflow and PI for interfaces.
  • Participate in complex code reviews and provide feedback.
  • Provide ABAP support for SAP implementations or AMS projects.
  • Interact with architects, analysts, and other IT delivery teams to understand functional requirements.
  • Implement changes/enhancements using ABAP technology aligned with SAP standards.
  • Render incident support and issue resolution as per the management tools used by customer
  • Lead smaller technical teams of 3-5 members or play a customer facing role.

Primary Skills and Qualifications

  • Essential: strong experience in developing ABAP applications for S4HANA, BW, and Fiori.
  • Essential: Deep experience in ABAP programming (WRICEF objects), OO ABAP, Web Dynpro, IDOC programming and CDS views
  • Essential: Fiori and BTP based coding methods
  • Essential: Expert level debugging and analysing skills.
  • Essential: Experience in optimizing code for performance optimization
  • Essential: Experience in creating documentations such as technical specifications, end user documentation or root cause analysis documentation
  • Essential: Prior experience in customer facing role or working experience in multi vendor environment.
  • Desirable: Experience in S4 transformation or Cloud migrations or Upgrade experience
  • Desirable: SAP certification in Cloud
  • Nice to have: Knowledge in configuring SAP Business Technology Platform, understanding of SAP Cloud Platform (Cloud Foundry) and available BTP platform services.
  • Knowledge of how to connect SCP to S/4HANA using Cloud Connector.
  • Nice to have: Programming experience in Cloud platforms e.g. SAP Business Technology Platform, Cloud Foundry.
