At Johnson Controls, we’re looking for a Warranty Specialist with a process-oriented mindset, strong customer service focus, and technical understanding to join our team.

What’s the role about?
As our new Warranty Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate, process, and administer warranty claims from our sales channels. This includes assessing the validity of claims, coordinating efficient payouts, and maintaining proactive communication with our sales channels to ensure quick and effective solutions for our customers. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth warranty experience, but the role is focused more on process management and collaboration than deep technical problem-solving.

You will be part of a global organization and work closely with our Product Technical team, who are your daily sparring partners. This setup gives you both the overview of large-scale processes and the benefit of technical expertise within arm’s reach.

What will you be doing?

  • Evaluate and manage warranty claims: Assess incoming claims from our sales channels, ensure claims are properly documented, determine approval or rejection, and process payouts promptly.
  • Proactive support: Work closely with sales channels to ensure fast problem resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Warranty administration: Handle daily tasks such as updating system data, cancelling claims, issuing credit notes, and managing documentation.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Track progress on warranty retrofits and concessions, prepare regular reports, and recommend process improvements.
  • System maintenance: Support and optimize our key digital platforms (SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, internal warranty platforms).
  • Training and communication: Provide support and simplified training to our branches and distributors regarding warranty processes.
  • Work environment: Collaborate in a global team structure while co-located with Product Technical colleagues for daily input and support.

Who are you?

  • You are process-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable evaluating documentation and making structured decisions.
  • You thrive on customer contact and clear, proactive communication.
  • You have experience with administrative workflows, ideally with SAP, Salesforce, or SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of HVACR or industrial refrigeration is a plus, but not a must.
  • You might have a technical background (e.g., Marine Engineer, Engineer, or similar).
  • You speak and write fluent English and Danish.
  • You enjoy teamwork and have a positive, solution-oriented approach.
  • You are comfortable with Microsoft Office and open to learning new digital tools.
