We work with healthcare organizations big and small to find the right physicians and advanced practitioners to provide quality patient care.

The Sales Consultant is responsible for making daily sales calls to generate qualified leads through strategic and engaging outreach. Research and identify potential clients and build strong relationships with their decision makers. Use consultative selling to present Jackson + Coker’s services to all clients. Maintain account histories and job postings in the database. Promote the Company’s professional image. Assist area associates and keep management informed of activities, significant problems and sales volume.

Additional Details:

  • Assume responsibility for the effective performance of all related consultative inside sales functions.

  • Contact clients and present Company services.

  • Identify each client’s decision maker and build a relationship in order to gain and maintain business nationwide.

  • Prospect for open opportunities through lead generation and screening.

  • Research internet job boards and postings to find potential sales opportunities to convert into potential revenue.

  • Work with all internal sales divisions to develop the best strategy to gain and maintain business with large health systems.

  • Collaborate with Internal Recruiters to find their providers opportunities to work with Jackson + Coker.

  • Extract all details from the client about their opportunity and communicate that information to area associates

  • Complete consulting functions in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Maintain and update database information and manage job postings. Ensure quality and accuracy in information being entered.

  • Send appropriate targeted marketing materials to clients and follow up appropriately

  • Manage daily schedule of calls, follow ups and required training

  • Meet or exceed goals established by the company by utilizing resources and adopting best practices.

  • Resolve client requests, complaints, and problems.

  • Demonstrate quality customer service for both internal and external customers.

  • Complete all trainings as assigned and properly demonstrate the skills that you learned in training to your day to day responsibilities.

  • Promote goodwill and convey a positive image of the Company.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Able to work well independently (self-motivated) and in a team environment.

  • Basic sales skills preferred.

  • Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong relationship building and presentation skills.

  • Well-developed prospecting, negotiating, and closing skills preferred.

  • Ability to take the initiative and hold yourself accountable.

  • Able to maintain a professional presence.

  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

  • 1+ years of sales experience in a goal-driven environment preferred.

  • Experience in phone sales preferred
