Summary:

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 15 Corporate Park Drive in Pembroke, MA.

Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.

Essential Functions:

-Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
-Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of
specimens.
-Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
-Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
-Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations.
-Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assigned
-Performs other duties as assigned
-Complies with all policies and standards


 

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  • Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred
