Summary
As an OpenText Developer / ECM-CCM Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and support of enterprise document and communication management solutions. This role involves working on platforms related to Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Customer Communication Management (CCM), and Document Management Systems to deliver scalable, business-critical applications.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in OpenText or related platforms such as Thunderhead / Smart Communications, OnBase, or other ECM/CCM/Document Management tools. We are also open to candidates from adjacent platforms who can be cross-trained into OpenText.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional technology teams to implement robust solutions, support integrations, and ensure smooth delivery across the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and support applications built on OpenText or related ECM / CCM / Document Management platforms.
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Participate in application design, customization, configuration, and integration activities.
Support implementation of document generation, workflow, content lifecycle, archival, and communication management solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, architects, and support teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application functionality, integrations, and platform performance.
Contribute to technical design discussions and support key project decisions.
Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and release processes.
Support knowledge sharing, documentation, and mentoring within the team.
Participate in development lifecycle activities including build, deployment, testing, and production support.

Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have Skills
Experience in OpenText OR related platforms such as:
o Thunderhead / Smart Communications
o OnBase
o Other ECM / CCM / Document Management platforms
Experience in ECM / CCM / Document Management solution development or configuration
Strong understanding of document workflows, content lifecycle, correspondence / customer communications, archival, and document generation
Experience in application design, development, configuration, and integration
Good To Have Skills
Exposure to OpenText ECM Tools / OpenText Exstream / OpenText Documentum / OpenText-related modules (adjust based on exact need)
Experience with APIs, integrations, and enterprise application interfaces
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JSON
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Experience working in enterprise application support / enhancement projects

Preferred Candidate Profile
5+ years of overall experience any one of the skills such as OpenText, Thunderhead, Smart Communications, OnBase, ECM, CCM, or Document Management platforms
Candidates with strong experience in adjacent enterprise content / communication platforms are welcome, with willingness to cross-train into OpenText
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in OpenText ECM Tools.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
