C.H. Robinson seeks an Account Manager to drive growth and retention within a defined customer portfolio. Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships across various levels and departments within the account to penetrate and expand account reach
  • Conduct regular business reviews, utilizing internal analytics and market intelligence to gain customer insights, identify growth opportunities, and present strategic solutions
  • Collaborate internally, cross-functionally, and with sales teams to develop effective supply chain solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and streamline processes from onboarding to execution using SOPs, KPIs, and automation
  • Engage in effective negotiation strategies regarding pricing and solutions, staying abreast of customer business changes for opportunity identification
  • Manage conflicts diplomatically, advocate for customer needs within the organization, and align resources for customer priorities
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies by leveraging insights into customer buying behaviors, C.H. Robinson's supply chain position, and utilizing internal tools and expertise from service line and pricing subject matter experts
  • Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) initiatives tailored to clients within the portfolio
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of previous sales and/or account management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Strong strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills (ability to persuade, motivate and influence others), and business acumen
  • Ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
