1. Start-up, control, monitoring, and shut-down of a multiple Extruder sheet line
2. Efficiently perform color and/or mold change
3. Access the on-line schedule in JDE and verify the Extrusion equipment and material system is properly set up for the next production job
4. Properly hook up material system and blenders to multiple Extruders and verify resins, colorants, regrind, and/or additives are being properly dispensed
5. Safely break down, clean, and re-assemble Extrusion equipment
6. Safely break down, clean, and re-assemble Grinding equipment
7. Verify good sheet quality through correct gauge control, width, color, and visual appearance
8. Make decisions regarding sheet quality
9. Operate and set up NDC system to assist with proper gauge control
10. Use Colori5 color check system to verify sheet is within specification
11. Use ISRA vision system to monitor sheet for quality defects
12. Operate turret winder system
13. Communicate with the proper departments regarding maintenance on the Extrusion and Material Handling equipment
14. Monitor Laminate Extrusion Assistants in department
15. Effectively communicate with all Extrusion shifts
16. Assist with color matches and/or material samples
17. Record shift production in WebEff
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma/GED equivalent
2. Prior Sheet Extrusion experience preferred
3. Exceptional organizational and communication skills with ability to work independently
4. Ability to communicate and work well with other Laminate Extrusion Technicians, and Assistants
5. Ability to lead people in a positive manner
6. Must become fork truck certified with ability to drive safely and accurately
7. Must become LOTO certified
8. Able to follow GMP regulations
9. Ability to read handheld micrometer
10. Able to stand/walk for seven hours of an eight-hour shift
11. Able to work overhead or in an awkward position on a frequent basis
12. Ability to climb ladders/steps safely and without assistance
13. Ability to lift 50 pounds and/or up to 100 pounds with assistance occasionally
14. Ability to push/pull loads in excess of 110 pounds occasionally
15. Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms, and horns on forklifts
16. Able to use and work well with standard hand tools
17. Vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision of 70 degrees or greater and ability to read 10-12 point font at a distance of 12-18 inches
18. Ability to work in a dusty/smoky environment on an intermittent basis
19. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees

c. Enter production info into WebEFF
