We’re growing fast and looking for driven individuals to join our team as a Yard Operative at our operations centre in Skelmersdale, WN89SU.

This role is yard-based role, focused on moving stock and vehicles around the site, keeping the dismantlers’ ramps well stocked, and helping to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow across our workshops and warehouses.

The salary for this position is £26,208 per annum.

What You’ll Do

• Operating a counterbalance FLT to move stock safely around our large yard

• Moving vehicles around the site when required

• Covering holidays and sickness for other FLT team members in the workshops

• Helping to keep the yard tidy, safe, and free from debris

• Working as part of a team and following health & safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• A valid counterbalance FLT licence (although internal training can be provided for the right candidate)

• Experience working in a yard or similar environment

• Someone flexible and happy to help where needed

• A good, safe attitude to work

• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
