The opportunity

We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit on a permanent part time basis, with a capacity for a minimum of 64 hrs per fortnight across a variety of shifts.

Things that work for us:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Endoscopy

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of endoscopic procedures

  • GENCA membership

  • Well-developed skills in communication, critical thinking & time management.

  • Effective communication skills, both written, verbal

  • Developed skills to deliver compassionate, patient-centred care.

  • The ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts a week and participate on the on call

  • The ability to rotate through separate areas of the unit including admissions, procedural rooms, recovery, discharges and reprocessing area.

  • The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

  • A working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation

  • Knowledge and ability to contribute towards effective risk management in compliance with WHS legislation

  • Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices

  • Ability to participate in quality improvement activities

Remuneration:
The position of Registered Nurse in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of $54.37 - $58.25 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
