Position Summary

The Associate Director of Donor Experiences reports to the Director of Donor Experiences and Leadership Initiatives and works closely with the entire Principal Gifts team. This position will support the efforts of the Principal Gifts Program’s donor experiences. The position delivers exceptional service to our constituents and plays a central role in setting and delivering principal gifts fundraising and engagement strategies and meeting program goals.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports the university’s leadership initiatives in conjunction with the Office of the Chancellor.
  • Supports the Director of Donor Experiences and Leadership Initiatives and the Senior Associate Director of Donor Experiences on key deliverables related to donor engagement and experiences.
  • Assists the Principal Gifts team in implementing highly personalized donor engagement, cultivation, and stewardship strategies.
  • Assists in planning innovative, creative, and individually-tailored multimedia donor stewardship activities, events and campus visits – a key component of our donor-centric model.
  • Performs on-site event execution and some event-related travel.
  • Assists with comprehensive briefing materials to prepare university leadership, including the Chancellor, Executive Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, provost and senior advancement colleagues, for events and programs with principal gift prospects and donors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Salary Range

    $58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually

    The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
