WHO WE NEED

We are looking for a talented, friendly, and energetic Ops Lead to join the VEG family! You are someone who is energized by helping people. In fact, you LOVE people and are passionate about solving their pet problems. Someone who is excited by providing and guiding exemplary customer service ensuring for a smooth and seamless experience for our customers.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive the customer experience and the VEG triage including, but not limited to providing a 3D experience, modeling the way, executing our spikes, rounds participation
  • General hospital maintenance including, but not limited to: cleaning, laundry, stocking, and inventory.
  • Drive the customer experience and host the VEG triage
  • Manage customer wait times
  • Handle all phone inquiries, transfer calls to appropriate party
  • Ensure prompt greeting for customers and their pets
  • Oversee reception desk is tidy and the refreshment center fully stocked
  • Supervise that customer/patient information is entered accurately in company software, payments are processed correctly
  • Manage cash drawer reconciliation and oversees EOD processes
  • Confirm the front desk is covered, managed and maintained at all times
  • Train and monitor new hires in daily front desk processes and operations
  • Manage inventory counts and audits for all hospital products and supplies
  • Manage inventory controls such as reorder points, expiration dates and product turnover
  • Maintain spend within budget set by HM
  • Develop and maintain contacts for vendors, service reps and drug reps
  • Drive upkeep and organization of storage room, pharmacy and any other areas supplies are stored
  • Maintain log of all invoices
  • Ensure all stock areas meet OSHA guidelines for safety
  • Lead communication regarding inventory with the team
  • Lead training on inventory management

 

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Prior experience with animals in a veterinary environment is a major plus!
  • Must have 1-2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Have a servant leadership mentality and lead by example
  • Knowledge of Infinity/ImproMed is a major plus
