About the role:
In a Project Management – Technology role, you’ll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new internal information systems and applications, new technology integrations, and infrastructure build-outs.
About the team:
FIS Profile® is a modern, real-time, multi-currency, deposit and loan core banking system. This integrated solution contains a multitude of configurable features designed to meet the unique business and product needs of retail and commercial financial organizations worldwide.
What you will be doing:
Working with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams.
Managing project risk and assisting with problem resolution.
Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups in FIS and/or in client organizations.
Assigns and monitors work of project team providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
Manages project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
May manage the integration of vendor/subcontractor tasks and track and review vendor/subcontractor deliverables, if appropriate for the project.
May include customizing base products to meet client requirements, system integration with other FIS or third-party products or consulting projects and engagements.
Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups in FIS and/or in client organizations.
Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will need:
Profile Core expertise required
Project and program management ability.
Thought Leadership ability required.
Ability to consult client on implementation projects (upgrades, conversions, staff augmentation, etc.)
Ability to assist a client in making business decisions as it relates to FIS products and processes.
Previous technical and/or business analyst skills are highly valued.
Demonstrated strong business acumen
Ability to think and act at an enterprise level
Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to negotiate externally and internally
Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.
Added bonus if you have:
Knowledge of FIS products and services a plus but not required
Knowledge of Financial Industry preferred.
