The Opportunity:
As a Business Analyst in Oliver Wyman’s Internal Consulting Hub (ICH), you will be responsible for executing specific analytic and reporting tasks, supporting operational and project activities, and owning well-defined workstreams or documented operational processes. You will play a key role contributing to the delivery of operational functions and contributing to the delivery of projects with increasing breadth and autonomy as you establish yourself. The tasks include (and are not limited to) supporting Oliver Wyman strategy execution, collaboration initiatives across businesses, and analysis for projects often driving the strategic direction of Oliver Wyman or significant system implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own documented operational processes and ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks. This involves executing day-to-day operations and ensuring adherence to established procedures. You will collaborate with teams and functions across Oliver Wyman, other businesses within Oliver Wyman Group, and business in our parent organization Marsh McLennan Group (MMC) to facilitate smooth execution of these operational processes.
- Conduct detailed analysis and prepare reports to monitor and support decision-making for operational processes or project delivery. This includes gathering, validating, and interpreting data relevant to operational and project activities within the firm.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and supporting the implementation of process enhancements.
Experience & Skills Required:
- An undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- A recognised Business Analyst certification and/or training, a plus
- Strong digital fluency to learn and use a range of digital tools
- Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in data gathering, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency with relevant tools and software used for data analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel, Tableau, etc.)
- Proficiency with tools and software used to enable and support processes (e.g., Qualtrics, Power Automate, GenAI, etc.) a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of business processes and project management fundamentals
- Attention to detail

- Ability to work independently balanced with proactivity to learn and problem solve
- Ability to manage work to deadlines and service-level agreements
- Service mindset and effective communication skills to collaborate and deliver to multiple functions, geographies, and businesses
- Fluent business English with good writing and verbal skills
