As an Investment Operations Intern, you will be brought on to our team to learn about American Century Investments and the financial services industry through an initial formal training program and continual training and mentoring throughout the program. Interns will then apply that knowledge to meaningful opportunities and projects.

In this internship, you will...

• Collaborate with teams across the Investment Operations department including Investment Accounting, Security Valuations, Financial Reporting, Tax, Trade Ops, Corporate Actions, Product Event Management, Investment Performance, Investment Reporting and Transformation.

• Gain real-world experience by completing a broad range of daily and periodic processes.

• Learn about key risks and controls within Investment Operations.

• Increase efficiency and reduce risk within Investment Operations by finding opportunities to improve processes and implementing solutions using low-code development tools.

• Contribute to key department projects and initiatives.

• You are a current Junior or Senior Undergraduate student, currently studying Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology

• Experience using Data Visualization Tools, Low-code tools and/or Python.

Internship Structure:

• 10 Week Program

• 40 hours a week, between 8am-5pm CST
