At Keep, we embarked on a mission with a powerful question: Why hasn't the banking experience caught up with the rapid pace of technology?
This continues to fuel our passion for reshaping the Canadian fintech landscape. We provide businesses with a comprehensive suite of cross-border banking services, offering everything from credit cards to deposit accounts, currency conversions, and revenue financing.
With a team of seasoned global startup veterans with successful exits, Keep is committed to leading the charge as Canada's next-generation fintech institution. Backed by VCs in the fintech sector, we're racing ahead, expanding our reach and impact like never before.
Job Overview:
As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue for our business by being a hunter within your book of business. You’ll be at the forefront of our customer engagement, working in a constantly changing environment where adaptability and proactivity are key. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, strategic, and customer-obsessed, with a passion for delivering exceptional value and achieving business results. If you are a current BDR looking to make the transition to a closing role, or early on in your sales career looking to make a break in FinTech - this role could be for you!
What We're Looking For:
Proven success in outbound as a BDR, Account Executive or Account Manager.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Being a team player and promoting a positive culture is a must.
Ability to manage pipeline hygiene in a CRM.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with customers and colleagues.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Bonus (however not necessary) if you have:
Experience in early to mid-stage startups.
Experience in financial products or fintech.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and Grow a Portfolio: Own a designated book of business, developing and executing strategic plans to maximize revenue growth and customer retention.
Drive Revenue: Proactively identify new opportunities for credit card spend and other financial products within your accounts to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact.
Adapt to Change: Embrace the fast-paced nature of the start-up environment, staying agile and responsive to evolving business priorities and client needs.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to deliver customized solutions and ensure an exceptional client experience.
Deliver Value: Understand client needs and challenges, presenting tailored solutions that drive business value and align with our financial product offerings.
Problem-Solve Proactively: Anticipate potential issues and work collaboratively to address challenges, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term success.
Growth: Have an adaptable mindset while being open to learning and seeking opportunities to improve.
Why You Should Be Excited About This Role
Opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing Canadian startups in history at an early stage.
Own a business-critical vertical with direct visibility from the C-suite and management.
Play a significant role in shaping the future of the Canadian fintech industry by driving strategic growth initiatives.
Develop and implement impactful strategies that contribute to the exponential growth of our organization.
Collaborate with a dedicated team that values innovation, encourages collaboration, and is committed to continual growth and improvement.
Contribute to transforming how businesses perceive and utilize growth operations solutions in Canada.
Why Join Keep?
We're obsessed with investing in data-driven solutions and cutting-edge technologies.
Be a part of a team that's rewriting the playbook for the Canadian fintech industry.
Data is the fuel for our growth engine, and you'll be in the driver's seat shaping our data strategies.
Embrace a fully inclusive and remote-friendly company culture that values diversity and work-life balance.
Help us bring modern banking solutions to businesses, reshaping the banking experience for our customers.
Why This Might Not Be a Good Fit
If you're a stickler for a highly structured environment with constant hand-holding, you might find our culture of autonomy and trust a bit different.
If you're more of a slow-and-steady-wins-the-race kind of person, our fast-paced, dynamic environment might be a bit of a rollercoaster.
Given the nature of our industry and our rapid growth, ambiguity and uncertainty are all part of the ride. If you prefer clear-cut structures or roles, you might find our dynamic environment a bit too adventurous.
Collaboration is the heartbeat of Keep, and if you prefer to work in your own little bubble without engaging with the wider team, you might find our approach to teamwork a tad unconventional.
