Location: Dodge Center, MN (3 openings)

The Service Technician – Customer Support will assist internal and external customers by phone, email or in-person to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair refuse collection equipment. This role is primarily onsite at our McNeilus Trucks and Manufacturing facility in Dodge Center, Minnesota with occasional travel to customer sites.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Support customers by troubleshooting technical issues on refuse vehicles and identifying actions to resolve them.
  • Communicate service-related documentation, such as field bulletins, information notices and product updates to customers.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and other departments.
  • Lead training sessions to help customers get the most out of their equipment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing vehicles or heavy/industrial equipment.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five (5) years or relevant experience.
  • Experience in a contact center or hands on equipment repair.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
