About the Role:
The Manager, Crew Technology Products at Disney Cruise Line will champion the long-term vision and optimization of technology solutions that support Crew Members, operations leaders, and shoreside support teams throughout the entire Crew journey—from recruiting and onboarding, international travel and training, to onboard work and contract completion. This leader ensures that all stakeholders have access to robust, integrated systems for hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, performance tracking, and compliance, enabling magical experiences for Crew and Guests while upholding critical employment and maritime regulations. As a key driver of strategic initiatives within DSE Technology, this role advances innovation and operational excellence, positioning Disney Cruise Line’s Crew technology offerings at the forefront of travel, maritime operations, and human resources capabilities.
What You'll Do:
This role will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of product professionals ensuring alignment with Crew Technology strategic goals. They will lead the development of departmental plans and priorities, manage resources effectively, and inspire their team to achieve both individual and collective success. Their strategic thinking and collaborative approach will be crucial in fostering an environment where Disney values are lived and experienced. This role matters because it directly influences the technology tools and experiences that empower Crew Members, operations leaders, and shoreside support teams, requiring skills such as strategic planning, collaboration, and mentorship.
Product Strategy & Vision: Define and evolve the product roadmap for technology solutions, aligning with broader organizational goals and Disney Cruise Line experience strategies.
Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing, innovative team by aligning business strategies, clarifying vision and priorities, and cultivating an environment of trust, support, and Disney values—empowering individuals to succeed, grow, and creatively solve problems.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., HR, Operations, IT, Legal) and external vendors to gather insights, prioritize needs, and ensure seamless integration of Crew products.
User-Centered Design: Champion user-centric design by leveraging feedback, data, and research to inform product features and enhancements.
Delivery & Execution: Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle—from ideation and requirements gathering to development, testing, launch, and iteration.
Performance & Optimization: Establish KPIs to measure product success, analyze usage data, and continuously improve functionality and adoption.
Change Management: Support training and communication efforts to ensure successful rollout and adoption of new tools and processes across the fleet.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of product management experience
Experience in product management, ideally with exposure to workforce, HR technology, or operations platforms.
Proven ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Innovative and strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Passion for improving user experiences and driving operational excellence
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or equivalent experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the travel, hospitality, or human resource industries.
Familiarity with DCL experience platforms.
Strong understanding of Disney's business segments and values.
