Data Champion – Data Governance

Candidate should be

  • Education : MCA / BCA Computer science / Expert degree in Data analytics & Data Engineering, Data science / Data management.
  • Experience of 5 to 8 years in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.
  • Experience with Pharma datapoints and nomenclature is an added advantage.

Technical skills

  • Programming/scripting language proficiency (Implementation experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, Databricks, Azure)
  • DG tool proficiency (Implementation experience preferred in Collibra, Unity Catalog and Ataccama good to have).

Expectation

DG Strategy implementation: Support annual DG strategy development and drive implementation of the DG strategy. Master database setup & management: Setup applications to manage master data effectively and associated SOPs to drive data quality and implementation.

Enhance Decision-Making: Ability to extract valuable insights from complex datasets and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

Optimize Business Operations: Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within data. Optimize business operations, improve efficiency, and drive growth.

Drive Innovation: Identify emerging trends, and make strategic decisions to stay ahead of the curve.

Bridge Communication Gaps: Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Foster a Data-Driven Culture: Become advocate for data-driven decision-making, influencing others to embrace and harness the power of data in their roles.

Should have relevant experience in below processes

  • Data Collection & digitization Methods: Candidates should be familiar with various data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, experiments, and observational studies.

  • Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Proficiency in data cleaning and preprocessing  ensure datasets are free from errors, inconsistencies, and missing values. Candidate should have knowledge of techniques to clean, transform, and normalize data for accurate analysis.

  • Data Analysis Techniques: Candidates should be well-versed in various data analysis techniques such as descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.

  • Data Visualization: The ability to effectively communicate data findings through visual representations. Candidates should be familiar with data visualization techniques and tools to create meaningful and insightful visualizations

  • Data Ethics and Privacy: Understanding on ethical considerations and legal aspects related to handling data.
