Job Summary:
Pharmacy Performance Analyst is responsible to supporting, executing, and overseeing core pharmacy requirements related to overall pharmacy performance.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee pharmacy vendor performance, creating dashboards of vendor performance against contractual performance guarantees, service level agreements (SLAs) and state/federal requirements
- Identify trends, provide recommendations, and lead projects focused on improvement, alignment, and creation of new performance metrics/SLAs, reporting needs, oversight needs and associated collateral for all products
- Create, measure, and monitor key performance metrics for the Pharmacy department with development of associated dashboards, visuals and reporting for Senior Leadership as needed
- Serve as the Pharmacy primary point of contact for Compliance inquiries and coordinate/lead escalations with appropriate internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the administrative coordination, distribution of pharmacy regulatory requirements internally and with external partners
- Assist in coordination of state and federal audits
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Masters or other advance degree in related field is preferred
- Minimum three (3) years in healthcare required, managed care or PBM preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of pharmacy experience
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership preferred
- Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management and compliance oversight preferred
- Experience in interpretation of regulatory/legislative requirements
- Ability to work independently and to manage multiple priorities with limited resources
- Ability to effectively report data, analyze facts, and exercise sound business judgement when making recommendations
- Ability to analyze problems, draw conclusions, develop processes, and communicate status and results
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with executive levels of management as well as external stakeholders
- Auditing skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship building skills and high level of professionalism

Compensation Range:
$69,400.00 - $111,000.00
