Job Summary:

Pharmacy Performance Analyst is responsible to supporting, executing, and overseeing core pharmacy requirements related to overall pharmacy performance. 

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee pharmacy vendor performance, creating dashboards of vendor performance against contractual performance guarantees, service level agreements (SLAs) and state/federal requirements
  • Identify trends, provide recommendations, and lead projects focused on improvement, alignment, and creation of new performance metrics/SLAs, reporting needs, oversight needs and associated collateral for all products
  • Create, measure, and monitor key performance metrics for the Pharmacy department with development of associated dashboards, visuals and reporting for Senior Leadership as needed
  • Serve as the Pharmacy primary point of contact for Compliance inquiries and coordinate/lead escalations with appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the administrative coordination, distribution of pharmacy regulatory requirements internally and with external partners
  • Assist in coordination of state and federal audits
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Masters or other advance degree in related field is preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years in healthcare required, managed care or PBM preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of pharmacy experience
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership preferred
  • Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management and compliance oversight preferred
  • Experience in interpretation of regulatory/legislative requirements
  • Ability to work independently and to manage multiple priorities with limited resources
  • Ability to effectively report data, analyze facts, and exercise sound business judgement when making recommendations
  • Ability to analyze problems, draw conclusions, develop processes, and communicate status and results
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with executive levels of management as well as external stakeholders
  • Auditing skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship building skills and high level of professionalism

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$69,400.00 - $111,000.00
