Trouw Nutrition is hiring… we’re looking to add a Customer Service Representative - Fixed Term to join our team in Sherwood Park, AB. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Customer Service and is able to participate in sales development and the smooth running of the location. We count on your keen experience to work closely with logistics and manufacturing, ensuring timely order placement, adhering to scheduling requirements, and constantly delivering a high standard of service.  You will also focus on building and nurturing customer relationships.

About The Role: Exceptional support and customer solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal with our customers questions, requests and concerns regarding different animal feeds.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
    • Accept and process incoming orders, answer questions, solve problems
    • Answer questions about product assortment and applications, production based on standard product, quoting prices and delivery times (training provided)
    • Participate in process improvements

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail experience, focused on excellent customer service
  • Customer management and strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of computer competency including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Expectation from the Role:

  • Work directly with our clients. The client base may include a variety of customers, from independent clients as distributors to individual farmers, and customers covered by a key account. 
  • Collaboration, good organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), high learning capacity, high level of integrity and influencing skills, acts like an owner / entrepreneurial, focus on continuous improvement, team oriented, show respect, coachable
  • The fixed term is expected to end on May 2nd 2025 (with a potential permanent role in the future)
  • 100% on-site
