Position Overview

Join us at the forefront of the digital asset industry as a Strategic Finance Manager, where you will directly influence our financial trajectory and long-term success. You will drive our core financial planning, forecasting, and strategic modeling processes, providing the critical insights that guide senior leadership. Collaborating closely with teams across treasury, accounting, operations and product, your work will ensure financial discipline and alignment as we navigate the dynamic crypto ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity for a finance leader passionate about digital assets to make a tangible impact by turning complex financial data into a clear roadmap for growth.

Note: This role is based in NYC and will be required to work from our office near Union Square a minimum of 3 days per week. Required working days onsite are at the discretion of the hiring manager and are subject to change based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s financial planning and forecasting processes, including annual budgets, long-term strategic plans, and liquidity forecasting.

• Assist in maintaining complex financial models to support decision-making and evaluate business performance.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including treasury accounting, operations, and product, to align financial goals with business objectives.

• Collaborate with the Treasury team to align cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and capital allocation strategies with broader FP&A objectives, ensuring optimal resource utilization and risk management.

• Analyze the financial impact of cryptocurrency market trends, regulatory changes, and business initiatives.

• Evaluate activity performed through decentralized finance activities to assess their financial impact, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and forecasting within the cryptocurrency space.

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and executive summaries.

• Drive the implementation of FP&A tools and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial processes.

• Monitor and report on key financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.

• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or related roles, with management or leadership experience preferred.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Experience in the cryptocurrency, fintech, or technology sector is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in financial planning tools and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles  and financial reporting (IFRS is a plus).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to evolving industry dynamics.

Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $170,000 - $215,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
