Role Summary/Purpose

The developer will be responsible for developing technology solutions in Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics space. As part of this role he would be working closely with Functional and Technical leads, customer, product owner, UX (User Experience) designer, and development team across various applications to implement user interfaces, prototypes.

Essential Responsibilities

• Software design, development and maintenance of Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics applications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, React, HTML5/JQuery, Ajax and REST. Good knowledge on Web Development practices (MVC, JavaScript Frameworks, REST, Responsive Design)

• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy to navigate user interfaces (UI) that consist of web pages with graphics, icons, and color schemes that are visually appealing

• Adhere to all the software requirements related to Application Performance, Architectural and Security standards

• Assist, guide and troubleshoot with the Support team to resolve customer issues of technical nature

• Work with teams through Agile development practices

• Participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders

• Proficiency in UX optimization of complex web pages, screens.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science

• Minimum 5 years of Strong development and implementation experience across different stages of SDLC using Web technologies.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with a concentration in latest front end design and development framework like Angular JS, Node JS, JQuery, Boot strap, HTML 5.0, CSS

• Experience in Maven and build scripts

• Experience with tools like GitLab for code configuration management.

• Strong analytical and Influencing skills with proven experience to design / develop solutions in a matrix / global environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

• Ability to explore open source libraries, eager to learn new technologies.

• Strong desire to experiment, use new tools and techniques

• Ability to operate in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
