Logan Health's Outpatient Retail Pharmacy in Kalispell, MT, is looking for a Department Assistant/Cashier, to join their team!

If you have an attention to detail, love a fast paced environment, and excel at giving excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!

Here is some of what you'll be doing:

  • Cashiering for walk-in pharmacy and drive through customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service experience
  • Stock and maintain inventory and supplies
  • Cash handling and daily reconciliation of point of sale and till
  • Assist with cleaning of pharmacy such as mopping, trash and breaking down
  • Work as part of the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required as applicable to assigned area(s):
    • Minimum of one (1) year experience in administrative role.
    • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical setting.
    • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role.
    • Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service, reception or retail.
    • Post high school education or vocational training in healthcare.
  • Experience working in a pharmacy setting is a plus!
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Provides administrative support for assigned area(s) in an organized and accurate manner according to policies and procedures. 
  • Exhibits knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures as they relate to the assigned area(s) and Logan Health. 
  • Consistently sets priorities resulting in the assigned area(s) functioning in an efficient and orderly manner.
  • Exhibits a commitment to professionalism while undertaking all tasks and in all interactions.
  • Assists with various department activities as requested and provides backup coverage for other support staff as applicable to assigned area(s).

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Shift:

Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time, 30 hours per week, currently Monday - Friday.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
