We are seeking Software Engineering Intern who thrives in collaborative team settings and is passionate about developing scalable, cloud-native applications and platforms to support our growing business needs. This role is a key part of the Corporate Information Security team where protect the infrastructure and secure them from external and internal threats with help of technology and tools. We drive specific projects within CIS Org which help protect the Nike infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of modern security concepts, who can sense risks and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks. Able to design and configure the security tools to identify, monitor and detect the risks from threat actors.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will support various functions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate must be a strategic problem solver with the ability to see the big picture and the impact technology has across the entire organization. The engineer must possess an enthusiasm for consumer facing digital technology and innovation and be able to listen and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

  • Proficiency in Excel & Power BI.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting (Python) for data analysis.

  • Strong process mapping and policy interpretation skills.

  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering Nike’s next-generation platforms. As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll leverage your technical understandings to automate and optimize revocation testing and change management approvals using AI and data analytics. You’ll also be responsible and working on secure projects which will protect Nike in day-in day-out.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Develop intelligent dashboards and reporting for audit readiness.

  • Enhance SOX ITGC revocation testing and compliance monitoring.

  • Assist in automating revocation validation by parsing IAM logs and detecting anomalies.

  • Support AI-driven workflow for change management approvals across platforms (Slack, email, ServiceNow).

  • Build real-time dashboards to aggregate compliance results and generate audit-ready evidence.

  • Analyze historical data to recommend process improvements and optimize workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with audit tools (GRC platforms).

  • Exposure to SOX framework, IT General Controls (ITGC), and application controls.

  • Understanding of access management, revocation testing, and change management controls.
