Senior Programme Manager

This position will be responsible for multiple component production and development programmes.  The Senior Programme Manager is responsible for the overall programme management process and execution performance (quality, schedule & efficiency) by managing resources, budgets and assets.  The Senior Programme Manager advises management and the customer of current status and potential problem areas on a regular basis and takes appropriate corrective actions as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all programme activities.
• Ensure we communicate and coordinate effectively with the customers to ensure delivery and performance.
• Manage work transfers in accordance to the customer’s expectations.

• Achieve programme/project objectives through effective application of programme management principles within the confines of scope schedule and budget defined by the programme/project sponsor.

• Sustain and expand the organisations book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns.

• Ensure proper coordination between all programme elements by developing programme plans and schedules and ensure compliance with programme plans by monitoring the status of cost, schedule and task completion.

• Achieve timely resolution of outstanding issues through the conductance of effective day-to-day communications with the customer, Moog management, and Moog functional organisations.

• Optimise the programme/project likelihood of success through the appropriate application of the following processes: Project Planning; Project Monitoring and Control; Organisation Management; Change Management; and Risk Management.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
• Minimum 3+ years of Programme Management experience
• Minimum 7+ years of professional work experience (including programme management experience)
• Proven Leadership Experience, excellent listening and persuasive skills
• Demonstrated team collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and a strong sense of customer orientation. 
• Experience managing multiple programmes.
• Experience in reporting and managing production programme line of balance to customer.
• Experience working with operations, supply chain and engineering.
• Experience leading proposal development and negotiating contracts.
• Experience managing a development programme schedule, cost and risk.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to present programme information to customers and other groups of people; ability to navigate high pressure situations.
• Ability to lead, organise, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills.
