Job Description Summary

               

The Sales Excellence Accruals & Settlements Analyst directly supports the Sales Excellence, Billing and Settlement teams in resolution of accruals and claim settlement resolution. They are responsible for timely validation and accurate resolution of accruals in SAP and TPM based on promotion processing proactively and daily. They are also responsible for timely validation and accurate reconciliation of settled and open claims in Lamb Weston’s SAP system landscape (S/4, TPM, and ITCM) based on established sales contracts and in alignment with department SOX controls.

In this role you will support all business units and departments enterprise wide overseeing all claims and accruals in TPM, ITCM, and S/4. You’ll be responsible for monitoring these systems to ensure they’re in sync.

Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review accrual amounts and validate the net billing amounts of billing documents for condition contracts.
  • Correct delta accrual settlement data to align with contract creation information.
  • Verify and update promotion release information in TPM and condition contract data in S/4.
  • Analyze discrepancies between Salesforce and TPM via exception reporting for SOX controls.
  • Proactively run delta accruals in SAP S/4 based on the appropriate condition contract.
  • Review expired promotions and run final settlements, updating promotion statuses.
  • Verify and update condition contract information to execute condition contracts with promotion accruals to create a credit memo for the accrual amount.
  • Follow SOX audit compliance to ensure accuracy when reviewing, processing, and exercising independent decisions on matters that affect the business.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide timely resolution and clarifications related to promotions and accruals. Cross functional coordination with Commercial Finance, Settlements, and other stakeholders.
  • Run daily extract of TPM settlements that were released and compare to S/4 to ensure settlement for full dollar amount posted.
  • Adhere to KPIs for claim reconciliation. Expectation is to reconcile all claims timely before month end report outs.​
  • Validate trade/rebate claims in SAP TPM against valid contracts and promotions in Salesforce.
  • Review and resolve exception reporting for Salesforce download and ITCM/TPM system errors in compliance with SOX controls.
  • Adhere to KPIs for claim reconciliation. Expectation is to reconcile all claims timely before month end report outs.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc)
  • Strong business acumen and excellent judgement, data driven decision making and strategic problem solver.
  • Salesforce/TPM/SAP experience
  • Process mapping experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to read, write and speak in English required.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $61,320.00 - $91,990.00
