Summary We are seeking a Quality Engineer II with strong expertise in Android APK development using Java, embedded systems, and debugging skills. The role involves developing APKs for Android host platforms, performing validation activities, and contributing to automation and CI/CD processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in Android environments and embedded connectivity domains. ________________________________________ Roles & Responsibilities • Develop Java-based APKs for Android host platforms. • Perform validation activities for software delivery. • Debug and resolve issues using Android Studio. • Work on Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline-related tasks. • Create scripts for new features and automation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables. ________________________________________ Professional & Technical Skills • APK development with Java and Android build environment. • Embedded system knowledge (preferably in connectivity domain). • Strong debugging skills using Android Studio. • Hands-on experience working on Android platforms. • Embedded testing experience. • NFC testing knowledge. • Scripting skills in Python. • Familiarity with SCM tools (Git or similar). • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong debugging and interpretation skills. • Experience with Android APK development using Java. • Embedded board experience (Android RB3 Dragon boards preferred). • Knowledge of NFC technology and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
