About Your Role:

As a Closed Store Portfolio Database Coordinator at Dollar Tree's corporate office, you'll support the management and optimization of temporarily closed store locations across Dollar Tree and Dollar Tree Canada. You'll partner with internal stakeholders to improve store reopening efficiency, maintain critical portfolio data, and provide timely reporting and analysis that helps drive operational decisions. Through your efforts, you'll help reduce store downtime and improve visibility into closure and reopening activities.

Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Database Management & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain processes and tools used to track temporarily closed, extended-closure, and reopened stores.
  • Manage and update store status information, sales data, and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain the Temporarily Closed Store Team SharePoint site, ensuring information is accurate and current.
  • Utilize various reporting tools and databases to proactively identify newly closed stores and monitor reopening progress.
  • Generate recurring reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Track closure durations, trends, and store classifications to improve operational visibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with IT, Field Leadership, Store Operations, Facilities, Construction, Property Management, Legal, and other business partners to support store reopening efforts.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Coordinate and support weekly cross-functional team meetings.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to reporting tools and processes.
  • Support storm tracking and contingency response initiatives during natural disasters and emergency situations.

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Gather, compile, and validate closed-store data from multiple systems and sources.
  • Research causes of store closures and document key operational impacts.
  • Proactively triage newly closed stores and coordinate resolution efforts with appropriate teams.
  • Analyze store revenue, closure durations, repair costs, lease information, and other operational metrics.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support analyses related to store sales recapture, closure reduction efforts, and year-over-year performance trends.

Work Order & Project Support

  • Review, approve, and submit work orders for closed stores within established approval authority and company policies.
  • Escalate complex or higher-cost requests as needed.
  • Coordinate and track furniture, fixtures, equipment, signage, shelving, refrigeration, flooring, and other materials required for store reopening projects.
  • Support construction and facilities activities associated with closed-store restoration and reopening efforts.
  • Provide additional support to Facilities, SWAT, and Landlord teams as business needs require.

Your Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in facilities management, property management, commercial retail leasing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting large volumes of data.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions within established guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with computerized work management systems, lease administration systems, or related operational platforms.
  • Prior experience supporting retail, facilities, real estate, or property management operations.
  • Experience maintaining SharePoint sites and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of work order management processes.
  • Experience with project coordination or construction support activities.
  • Familiarity with graphic design or presentation software is a plus.

Start Rate = $66,000 -$75,000 based on experience and 10% bonus.
