Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - ManagementESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Configuring, daily monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of the technical layer of SAP applications.
Support and administration of the various 3rd party bolt-on applications.
Manage projects specific to SAP Basis Administration while at the same time performing the hands-on work.
Collaborate with the IT functional teams to troubleshoot issues and help propose solutions to meet their requirements.
Provide SAP Basis support for functional team projects
Assist in ensuring all SAP systems are stable and performing well.
Provide documentation for technical and process related activities
Install, patch, and or upgrade SAP software.
Perform HANA database support, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
Trend analyses on resource utilization, to ensure the systems have what they need to support future workloads.
COMPETENCIES:
SAP HANA architecture (including HA)
SAP HANA performance & tuning
SAP Basis administration with emphasis on BW on HANA and S/4 HANA
SAP Solution Manager
SAP Basis administration (ABAP & Java Stacks)
AWS cloud architecture
Vertex O series administration
SAP Secure Login Server
Additional General SAP Basis Admin skills (i.e. software installs, patching, upgrades, familiar with Linux and Windows)
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Must be a driven individual able to engage and work well in a team environment, but at the same time capable of working on their own.
Passionate about the various facets of software administration.
REQUIREMENTS:
10 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator
SAP Basis administration with in depth experience on BW and S/4 HANA systems
Bachelor’s degree
