Responsibilities:
Has overall control and accountability for Yahoo! fixed asset, leases, facilities and prepaid accounting
Ensures timely, accurate, and complete accounting and reporting
Identifies and evaluates complex or unusual business initiatives which require in depth knowledge of accounting policy and Yahoo strategy
Establish fixed asset and leasing controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
Represents the Accounting department as the technical expert in this area
Coordinate audit and tax compliance
Lead cross-functional projects
Drive process improvement and automation to improve efficiency
Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounting and business partners
Provides Leadership and direction to team including development, training, coaching, and performance management
Develops strategic goals, objectives and priorities for Fixed asset assets and leasing team
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Master’s degree in Accounting or CPA preferred
Minimum 10 years high volume Fixed Asset and Leasing experience
Experience leading and managing teams
Experienced in interpreting technical accounting guidance
Experience in Oracle or other large ERP systems
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
