The Vendor Operations Contract Manager oversees the entire vendor contracting process from start to finish. This includes creating contracts, collaborating with stakeholders, and serving as the primary liaison between the organization and vendors throughout the contracting process.

You Will:  

  • Develop, draft, and manage contracts in alignment with organizational standards and goals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the contract terms meet organizational and departmental needs
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders (ie: legal and finance) throughout the contracting process, ensuring all required signatures and approvals are obtained for finalizing contracts
  • Partner with the procurement team to align contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate the setup and onboarding of new vendors
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline the contract lifecycle process
  • Drive vendor adoption of API integration and going digital, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency
  • Facilitate rate negotiations as needed with vendors to secure cost-effective terms while ensuring alignment with organizational needs and policies.

What you will bring to the table:  

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Typically, a minimum of 5 years related professional experience
  • Experience working in the healthcare insurance / risk adjustment industry or healthcare/health IT industry and knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations
  • Strong decisive insight, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment in decision making ability
  • Flexibility with working hours, which may include hours outside of normal scheduled work hours and travel up to 15%
  • Change champion who identifies innovative solutions and drives results
  • Results and quality-oriented with the ability to effectively gather, interpret and evaluate information. 
  • Strong analytical skills needed to prepare and analyze data to drive KPIs

  • Experience with Provider record retrieval processes

Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $117,000.
