Job Description

The Solution Architect is the subject matter expert behind architectural decisions for the team. The Solution Architect is a key driver of the visionary force behind the technical solution and partners with team to succeed with goals. The Solution Architect places strong value on simplicity and is unafraid to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve an Agile design. The Solution Architect works closely with all team members to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future architectural changes and designs. In partnership with Technical Leaders, the Solution Architect will drive the teams engineering practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment. The Solution Architect leads and actively coaches the team to solve problems and removes roadblocks to ensure team success.

You will report to the Senior Technical Lead and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

The Solution Architect for the Finance Analytics team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data driven products that provide value to organization's customers and other stakeholders. A Solution Architect's main role is to create and maintain robust, scalable and reliable products which can include tools, dashboards, and data applications that enable data-driven decision-making.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Legal authorization to work in the UE is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Typically 8+ years leadership experience.
• Bachelor or Masters in CS, MIS, Software Engineering or equivalent engineering/technical degree.
• Seen as an expert within the technical components of the domains/products/journeys (Azure data engineering and related components).
• Experience as a developer or technical lead with a deep insight into newest technologies and trends with DevOps, security, testing, and release practices.
• Be able to code and architect back and front-end solutions with multiple types or architecture.
• Familiar with Azure production Cloud/DevOps environments.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and development in product-driven teams
• Experience managing technical priorities within the Backlog.
• Experience managing the delivery through the agile team.
• Background working on Finance related data, analytics and insights products.
• Product ownership, product management, project management, or business analysis experience.
• Knowledge of Data Analytics and Insights methodologies and tools.
• Experience of data modeling, star schema
• Experience working with SAP as data source
• 5 years hands-on coding experience with Azure data engineering tools, Databricks (notebook, workflow, DLT, Machine Learning), ADF, SQL, Power Platform Fabric and Power BI.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline to deploy assets to Databricks and Power BI environmentsExperience with Azure infrastructure, network, IAM, RBAC, and ADLS.
• Experience with Admin capabilities of Databricks, Power BI, Power Platform
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, PowerBI, Dax, Tabular Editor, SQL, PythonJira, Jira Align, Confluence, Microsoft Products.
