What impact you’ll make:
As a member of the Gas Power Materials Management Team, the Project Cost specialist is the key partner flexing across multiple sites and products responsible for end-to-end of a project’s lifecycle. This role is responsible for comprehensive reporting and analysis of downstream site operations, materials, finance leaders and ITR partners (HDNU, HD services, Aero). The mission of the project cost specialist is to drive improvements to core processes and partner with key stakeholders to create tools & analytical solutions that enabling efficiencies to downstream operating partners.
What you’ll do
Own quarterly estimate at completion (EAC) reporting to measure project deviations vs handbook (as sold) and prior quarter, validating actual costs for both direct material, labor and other manufacturing overhead
Monitor and improve key project controls throughout the project lifecycle from creation, execution & monitoring, billing, reporting and closure
Gather key inputs from operations to properly maintain project forecast in system
Partner with operations to monitor project risks and opportunities and proposing corrective action plans to improve contract margin and cash profile
Perform execution of project billing, ensuring proper sign off and documentation to ensure timely and accurate processing
Support annual standard and handbook processes, providing year over year variance insights linked to key operational drivers of labor, inflation/deflation, farm-in/farm-out decisions
Able to partner with key stakeholders to develop harmonized standard global operating procedures in complex matrixed, operating environment
Able to effectively communicate current state and future state process & controls, and develop roadmap to align system/process differences across global supply chain to drive harmonized global standard work
Coordinate with IT to deliver high impact project analytics and controls that drives operational accountability, predictability and transparency
Partner with key stakeholders to implement scalable solutions such as automated billing or project closure to improve finance efficiency and reporting accuracy
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Prior experience in supply chain
Bachelor’s degree
Exceptional excel skillset
Prior knowledge of manufacturing system ERPs (i.e. SAP, Oracle, BAAN) and with digital and automation tools such as Tableau, RPA

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $90,400.00 and $150,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
