About the Team

Authenticity Guarantee is a key initiative at eBay where select items are verified by professional authenticators to enhance buyer trust, confidence, and satisfaction.

The Authentication Technology team builds end-to-end software solutions powering the authentication lifecycle—including receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, storage, imaging, and Android applications—while integrating with custom hardware systems. This requires designing highly scalable, distributed, and reliable systems.

About the Role

We are seeking a Tech Lead Manager (TLM) who combines the technical depth of a Staff Engineer with the people leadership of an Engineering Manager.

You will own architecture and technical direction for a critical product area while also managing and growing a team of engineers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of hands-on system design, cross-team influence, and team leadership.

If you enjoy building 0 to 1, this would be a great fit!
