Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Executive Assistant to Program Director to join our team! In this role you will get to provides high-level administrative support, manages schedules, coordinates communications, and assists in the smooth operation of the program .

Specific Responsibilities

  • Participates in the generation of program resources and in the design and development of program operating goals, objectives, and protocols.

  • Provides administrative support for project planning and execution.

  • Maintains tactical responsibility for tracking project initiatives, as assigned.

  • Monitors progress of program requirements.

  • Provides technical/professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support, as appropriate.

  • Gathers and organizes information on problems or procedures.

  • Assists in gathering, compiling, and verifying data from various sources.

  • Prepares and updates spreadsheets and other data tracking tools.

  • Maintains databases and ensures data integrity and accuracy.

  • Conducts preliminary data analysis; generates basic reports, charts, and graphs to support findings.

  • Assists in identifying trends and patterns in data sets.

  • Drafts and edits reports, presentations, and other documentation.

  • Ensures all reports are accurate, well-organized, and visually appealing.

  • Compiles information from various sources into comprehensive reports.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of general program requirements, policies, and procedures

  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems

  • Familiarity with program management and life cycle development

  • Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects

  • Basic data analysis skills

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Effective time-management and organizational skills

  • Effective attention to detail skills

  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders

  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills

  • Effective computer skills in Microsoft programs (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.)

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team


Education and Typical Experience

  • High School Diploma required (or equivalent)

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 4+ years of experience in administrative support (or Bachelor's degree as equivalent experience)
