What is the NBS Onboarding Manager - FTS - New Business Services group responsible for?

  • Coordinate key clients and partners to successfully onboard new FT funds and Institutional accounts globally. Partner with product development and other business partners by representing FTS during new retail product launches and discussions globally.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the NBS Onboarding Manager?

New Business Services:

  • Ensure the successful set up and launch of all Franklin Templeton Funds and Institutional Accounts by coordinating and working with FTS, internal business partners and clients

  • Co-ordination of other significant events, e.g., complex in/out-species and account closures

  • Establish operational teams and forums to facilitate communication and set up of new funds and accounts.

  • Identify new product issues and challenges quickly and mobilize key decision makers to identify solutions.

  • Build and foster relationships with key clients and operational business partners including:

    • Institutional Sales & Client Services

    • Institutional Marketing Support

    • Retail Sales

    • Product Development

    • Portfolio Management

    • Legal

    • Compliance

    • Investment Performance Services

    • Portfolio Analysis and Investment Risk Department

    • FTT

    • TA

    • FTS business partners

  • Ensure standard business & operating processes and service level agreements are defined and implemented where appropriate.

  • Ensure everyone understands our current service capability.

  • Work with clients and partners to continually review and improve our existing new product and service capabilities.

  • Work with clients and partners to proactively identify future product and service requirements.

  • Keep up to date with industry and competitor developments, service, systems, and support trends.

  • Provide regular status reports of all new products, issues, and industry trends to FTS, clients, and other departments.

Other Duties:

  • Participation or leadership of other projects as required by the Senior Management of FTS NBS

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Minimum of 5 years management and / or consulting experience

  • Solid knowledge of investment management and financial services industry experience

  • Comprehensive background and understanding of front, middle, and back-office functions and processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong employee development skills

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Proven ability to take initiative and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong operational, service, and business insight (Franklin Templeton company knowledge preferred)

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.

  • Excellent facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and persuasion skills

  • Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives and client needs.

Work Shift Timing - 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM IST
